Eligibility : BS/MS in Electrical Engineering

Responsibilities:

Perform and generate engineering test reports.
Coordinate the procurement and assembly of electrical/electronic components/equipment and identify sources of critical parts and subsystems to resolve technical issues

Generate related alpha/gamma documentation for product release.
Design or modify electrical/electronic engineering assemblies, layouts/schematics, and/or detailed drawings/specifications of limited scope under direct supervision.
Perform basic engineering analysis under direct supervision.
Troubleshoot a variety of electrical problems.
Effective use of engineering processes in the resolution of electrical problems of limited scope.
With supervision establish task priorities.

Job Description:

• Job Specific Knowledge:

Limited use and/or application of basic principles, theories, and concepts. Knowledge necessary to perform job includes: basic knowledge of electrical engineering design, troubleshooting to component level, system engineering, analog and digital circuitry design, power controls, robotics, and possibly Radio Frequency concepts; exposure to electrical CAD tools; and basic understanding and utilization of engineering documentation.

• Qualifications:

Skills and abilities to perform job include: good analytical skills; good oral and written communication skills; good problem solving and troubleshooting skills; computer literate; detail orientated; and ability to work in a team.

• Education:

Knowledge and skills typically acquired by a completed BS in Electrical Engineering or related technical discipline (or equivalent knowledge) and 0-2 years directly related experience; MS in Electrical Engineering or related technical discipline (or equivalent knowledge) and 0-1 year directly related experience preferred.
No previous work experience required.
