ISRO Recruitment 2012-13:-
ISRO is to develop space technology and its application to various national tasks. Accordingly, Indian Space Research Organisation (ISRO) has successfully operationalised two major satellite systems namely Indian National Satellites (INSAT) for communication services and Indian Remote Sensing (IRS) satellites for management of natural resources; also, Polar Satellite Launch Vehicle (PSLV) for launching IRS type of satellites and Geostationary Satellite Launch Vehicle (GSLV) for launching INSAT type of satellites.

Satish Dhawan Space Centre (SDSC) SHAR is one of the lead Centres of Indian Space Research Organisation situated at Sriharikota in Andhra Pradesh. SDSC SHAR has a combination of Solid Propellant Production Plant, Rocket Motor Static Test Facility, Launch Complexes for variety of rockets, Telemetry, Telecommand, Tracking, Data Acquisition and processing facilities and other support services.

2) Hindi Typing Speed @ 30 w.p.m.
3) Proficiency in the use of Computers (A Diploma of minimum one year duration in Computer Applications is desirable)
4) Knowledge in English Typewriting desirable

Age limit:- 18-35 years for the Post Nos.26-32 and 18-26 years for the Post No.33 as on 10-10-2011.

Relaxation in upper age limit by 05 years for SC/ST candidates and 03 years for OBC candidates.

Selection Process:- The qualification prescribed is the minimum requirement and possession of the same does not automatically make the candidates eligible to be called for written test/practical test/interview. Based on the academic performance and bio-data, initial screening will be done to short-list candidates for taking up written test/practical test/interview. Only short-listed candidates will be called for written test/practical test/interview as the case may be.
